Meet the Staff of Grace Senior Services, Inc.

Bradford Bass

President, Owner Grace Senior Services, Inc.

Brad graduated from MSU, Mankato with a BS in Urban and Regional Studies - with an emphasis in senior housing. Brad and his wife (Heather) started Natural Surroundings (adult day center) in 1997 serving elderly and individuals with various disabilities in the Mankato area. Brad and Heather began Grace Senior Services, Inc. in 2002 providing care for individuals in a foster care home (Lillian Grace). In 2004, Brad and Heather opened Autumn Grace (memory loss assisted living facility) a division of Grace Senior Services, Inc., and added a second facility in 2005. In 2008, Grace Senior Services, Inc. expanded Autumn Grace to serve individuals with ventilator dependencies and other specialized medical conditions requiring 24 hr nursing. Heather and Brad received the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Minnesota Small Business Development Center in May, 2006. They were also honored and received the Greater Mankato New Business of the Year Award in 2008. Brad is also President of Bradford Development of Mankato, LLC which develops Senior Housing Cooperatives.

Heather Bass

Administrator, Vice President, Owner Grace Senior Services, Inc.

Heather graduated from MSU, Mankato with a BS in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. Heather and her husband (Brad) started Natural Surroundings (adult day center) in 1997 serving elderly and individuals with various disabilities in the Mankato area. Brad and Heather began Grace Senior Services, Inc. in 2002 providing care for individuals in a foster care home (Lillian Grace). In 2004, Brad and Heather opened Autumn Grace (memory loss assisted living facility) a division of Grace Senior Services, Inc., and added a second facility in 2005. In 2008, Grace Senior Services, Inc. expanded Autumn Grace to serve individuals with ventilator dependencies and other specialized medical conditions requiring 24 hr nursing. Heather is responsible for planning, implementing, controlling, and evaluating health care delivery programs and operations. Heather provides administrative management by establishing and maintaining family and community social service relationships.

Julie Bohnert

Director of Operations

Julie handles the daily operations of Grace Senior Services, Inc. She started with Grace Senior Services in January, 2006. Julie graduated with a degree in Sales Marketing and Management in 1988 from SCTC, Mankato. She received her degree in Medical Secretary in 1989 from Rasmussen College, Mankato.
Julie oversees all departments within Grace Senior Services, Inc. She provides management in areas of payroll, payroll taxes, accounts payable, and vender negotiations as well as planning and reviewing compensation strategies.

Lana Steuck

Human Resources Director

Lana is the Human Resources Director for Grace Senior Services, Inc. She began her employment with the company in May of 2007. Lana received her Legal Secretary AAS degree from Mankato Technical College.
Lana is responsible for worker's compensation, benefits administration and unemployment management. Lana provides all employees orientation by participating in or facilitating training sessions. Lana implements resource allocation that supports business objectives and develops strategic direction for payroll management.

Nancy Anderson

Activities Director

Nancy is the Activities Director for Grace Senior Services, Inc. Nancy began her employment with Natural Surroundings in November, 1999 and with Grace Senior Services, Inc. since its opening in May 2004. She works in the adult day center, memory unit and the foster care / vent unit. Nancy plans and implements all aspects of activity programming for client needs. Nancy graduated from MSU, Mankato in 1999 with a degree in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.

Michelle Kruger

Registered Nurse,
Vent Unit

Michelle is the RN with Autumn Grace - Vent /Foster Care Unit. She has been with Grace Senior Services, Inc. since July 2008. Michelle received her degree from SCTC, Mankato in 2005, and supervises the LPN's and Vent Care Attendants, and manages all nursing services within the ventilator/special care unit.

Brandi Hubner

Registered Nurse,
Memory Unit

Brandi is the RN with Autumn Grace - Memory loss unit. She has been with Grace Senior Services, Inc. since February 2009. Brandi graduated from SCTC, Mankato in 2005. She supervises the nursing department in the memory unit.

 

Deb Peterson

LPN, Memory Unit

Deb is the Licensed Practical Nurse for Autumn Grace - Memory Unit. She has been with Grace Senior Services, Inc. since May 2007. Deb graduated from Hennepin Technical College, Eden Prairie with an LPN degree, and is working toward an RN degree through Excelsior College, NY. Her expected graduation is 2010.
